나를 둘러싼 세계는 끊임없이 변한다.

나라가 바뀌고, 언어가 달라지고, 사람들이 달라지며 삶의 환경 또한 변한다.

그러나 변화 속에서도 나를 나답게 만드는 것은 무엇일까.

이주민 예술가들은 각자의 언어와 경험으로 자신이 누구인지 이야기한다.

어떤 이에게는 혈통과 국적 사이에서 살아가는 자신의 정체성이,

어떤 이에게는 시간과 공간을 넘어 자신을 붙잡아주는 춤이,

또 다른 이에게는 지친 삶을 견디게 하고 영혼을 채우는 예술이

자신을 존재하게 하는 힘이 된다.

서로 다른 나라에서 왔고, 서로 다른 삶을 살아왔지만

그들이 향하는 곳은 결국 하나다.

나는 누구인가.

그리고 나는 어떤 나로 살아갈 것인가.

이 작품은 이주라는 경험을 넘어,

스스로 자신의 정체성을 선택하고 만들어가는 현재를 담는다.

나의 정체성은 누군가가 정해주는 것이 아니라

내가 살아내고, 선택하고, 만들어가는 것이다.

The world surrounding me changes without end.
Countries change, languages change, people change, and the circumstances of life change too.

But amid all that change — what is it that makes me, me?

Migrant artists speak of who they are, each in their own language and from their own experience.
For some, it is an identity lived between bloodline and nationality.
For some, it is dance — something that reaches across time and space to hold them.
For others, it is art — something that sustains them through exhaustion and fills their soul.
These are the forces that allow them to exist.

They have come from different countries and lived different lives —
but in the end, they are all moving toward the same question:

Who am I?
And what kind of person will I choose to be?

This work reaches beyond the experience of migration
to capture the present moment of choosing and building one's own identity.

My identity is not something someone else defines for me — it is something I live, choose, and create for myself.
