줄거리 Synopsis

한-베 혼혈아지만 신병을 앓고 있는 수연. 모두의 의심 속에서도 내림굿의 각 단계를 잘 헤쳐 나가는데, 수연에게 들린 신은 베트남 신…?! 베트남에 가야한다는 무당의 말에, 수연은 한국에 남기 위해 친구들과 기상천외한 작전을 벌이기로 한다.

Suyeon, a Korean girl with a Vietnamese mother, suffers from shinbyeong (a spiritual illness). She survives the grueling initiation ritual, only to discover the spirit possessing her is a Vietnamese god.

When the shaman tells her she will have to go to Vietnam, Suyeon and her friends hatch an outlandish scheme to keep her in Korea..

제작의도 Director’s Remarks

50:50, 40:60 등 총합 100의 스펙트럼 안에서 가늠하곤 하는 다문화 구성원들의 정체성. 그러나 다문화 배경을 가진 존재들은 100을 초월해서 100:100, 도합 200의 힘을 발휘할 수 있는 잠재력이 있다는 것을 보여주고 싶었다.

The identity of multicultural people tends to be measured on a spectrum that always adds up to one hundred — fifty-fifty, forty-sixty. But I wanted to show that people of multicultural background have the potential to go past one hundred altogether: one hundred to one hundred, two hundred in all.
