meercat is an activist, hula instructor, and singer-songwriter.

After going from a listener of music to someone who writes and performs their own songs, she has turned everything — from the small stories of everyday life to reflections on the society we live in — into song.

She sings of the love and resistance found in the everyday, including her signature song "Toegeunsong" (퇴근송, "Quitting Time Song").
