카디 나바(KADI NAVA)는 아프가니스탄 출신의 독립 예술가이자 공연자 모크타리 카디제의 예명이다. ‘KADI’는 본명 Khadijeh에서 가져온 이름이며, 페르시아어 ‘NAVA’는 노래와 선율, 아름다운 목소리를 의미한다.

카디 나바는 페르시아어와 한국어로 시와 노랫말을 쓰고, 음악과 노래를 통해 다양한 감정과 이야기를 표현하고 있다. 특정한 주제나 장르에 자신을 한정하지 않고, 때로는 사랑과 그리움을 노래하며, 때로는 여성의 삶과 이주 경험, 자유와 평화, 그리고 개인적·사회적 이야기를 음악에 담는다.

KADI NAVA is the stage name of Mokhtari Khadijeh, an independent artist and performer from Afghanistan. "KADI" is taken from her given name, Khadijeh, while "NAVA" is a Persian word meaning song, melody, and beautiful voice.

KADI NAVA writes poetry and song lyrics in Persian and Korean, and expresses a wide range of emotions and stories through music and song. Rather than confining herself to a specific theme or genre, she sometimes sings of love and longing, and at other times weaves into her music the lives of women, the experience of migration, freedom and peace, and both personal and social stories.

She seeks to share with her audiences the universal emotions that can be found across different languages and cultures, and to create empathy and connection between people through music.
